Probably because I'm stuck with the belief that no-one reads it.
Anyway, what a heck of a year it's been. I've learned so much, gained so many more friends and had possibly one of the best years of my life.
Strange, how a new school can do that to you!
Here's to a good 2009.
xD

Well, as was shown in my speech, and various other assignments, I have looked into several games to see how they were advertised. Once I saw the "Assassin's Creed" art book, I knew it was an effective (and achievable) form or advertising. (and a good way of providing a 'teaser' for the game.)
I learned just how many people are employed to make games, and just how much money goes into them.
Working in a shop that sells video games also helped me get an insight to the industry.
To do a poster and an 'advertising' comic book for a video game I have the concepts for.
Treatment
Medium: Photoshop, pencil and paper.
Genre: Video Game
Target Audience: for the game, about 15 - 25 year olds. Either gender, but males tend to like these sort of violent games better than females.
Context: Seen by those with interest in the game. The comic could be used as a sort of introducing medium
Style or Tone:
Serious, moody, dark (entertainment)
Recources: Photoshop, a good printer, a quiet place to work in.
Creative difference:
Well, originally I was set to do a short animation for the game (as a loading screen, start screen, whatever), but we didn't find flash on the school computers. And Windows movie Maker had a time minimum of something like 0.5 seconds, which was too long and made the animation boring. So, instead of an animation, I did a promotional poster.
